That's it for me. What have you been up to? Do you have any tips that you care to share?

Pam and I want to give a big shout out to Nicole of Sisters Choice. So many of you came by to visit us through her. Nichole, thank you for sharing your blogging friends with us.
Also, a very special thank you to Carmen of Honey Run Quilters for showcasing our jewelry in her booth. Carmen, thank you so much! Honey Run Quilters is a fabulous quilt store and I encourage you to visit it if you are ever in Northern California.
Also, thank you to all of you for leaving comments and suggestions. We are thrilled with all of your positive comments on our venture! Thank you too, for becoming followers of One Stitch Off and Library Gal Quilts.
Now, for Pacific International. Yes, we went for the quilts (and vendors), but were very fortunate to be there while an Indian wedding was in progress. Here's a picture of the bride. And the bride's procession.
The women were so beautiful. We felt very plain compared to them. And the reception area. Here's Pam - no we weren't crashing the wedding, although we did give some thought to how we would pull it off. Oh my gosh, every girl's fairytale dream. Finally, here's a close up of one of the tables - just beautiful.
I'll post pics from PIQF as soon as I sort through them.
Until next time, happy quilting.

Hi friends. Well, I like quilting and I like jewelry and really, don't they go together quite well? I mean, who wouldn't want to be all jeweled up while quilting? Library Gal Quilts and I cooked up this great idea to start making stamped metal jewelry targeted toward the quilter. I guess you could say jewelry for quilters made by quilters. We both love how it looks and have been pounding our hearts out getting it up and going. One Stitch Off Mixed Metal Stamped Jewelry has been born! We are proud to say that it is going to be at Pacific International Quilt Festival, available in the Honey Run Quilters booth (#110). Please stop by and see if for yourself if you are going to the show.
Because we are giddy with positivity, we want to give away a personalized stamped necklace. Yours could say, Mom, Wife, Grandma, Quilter...we'll add the charm you'd like or crystals in a favorite color. So, spread the word and good luck!
To win a personalized necklace here's the two things you need to do:
l. Please leave a comment telling us which necklace you like best on both of our blogs.
2. Suggest one necklace message such as: "live, laugh, quilt"
Library Gal Quilts and I will throw all the names in a basket Saturday night and pull the winner at 10 pm.
If you are a follower or become a follower, mention that in your comments for an extra chance to win.
If you would like to order any of these designs, or a personalized themed necklace, email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get it going for you. For example, my son just joined the Navy and graduated from boot camp last week so I had to have a necklace that will keep him close to my heart while he's away. My triple-stacked necklace says his name, navy mom, proud of my sailor; and has a Navy charm. Super cute if I do say so myself. These necklaces are reasonably priced at $22 + $1.50 shipping, with personalized necklaces running slightly more.
Thanks for stopping by and good luck! Debbie and Pam in Chico
